Holy shit guys!! I just saw the video for Spectrum and it is both creepy and beautiful in the most hauntingly appealing way possible!!! I CANNOT STOP RAVING ABOUT IT OMG why did I see this only now??? The video's been out since May!!

Okay take a deep breath and stop overusing the exclamation marks.

ANYWAY. That really isn't what I wanted to write about today at all.

Like I mentioned before, I've been considering getting a Tumblr recently for reasons...(mainly the idea of reblogging gifs and all the fandoms) BUT I HAVE BEEN THWARTED.

For reasons unknown, I cannot for the life of me use the Ask and Submit features on Tumblr! My friend Abigail (not the same Abigail as in Taylor Swift's famous Fifteen song, but I get why you might be confused. No actually, I'm just kidding around lol there are five point two million Abigails in the world, no one would automatically think of THAT Abigail hahaha. But it could happen. *shrug* OHMYGOD BACK TO THE POINT.) says it's got something to do with the fact that
a) I use Singtel
b) I use Chrome
c) my proxy settings
d) I use a MacBook
and after a bit (read: A WHOLE EFFING LOT, YOU SONS OF...*takes a cleansing breath*) tinkering about, i STILL cannot use the darn ask and submit features so I'm beginning to think it could also have to do with the facts that
e) I use a USB modem so the settings are different
f) I AM A FREAKING TECH NOOB AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING
probably though,
g) all of the above

This is like a "screw you" from a social platform. Like, AHAHA YOU ARE NOT WORTHY OF THE LOVED ONES YOU HAVE BETRAYED ENDLESS LOVE AND AWESOMENESS ON TUMBLR SO GTFO, AND STAY THERE!!

not that Blogger isn't awesome. I just feel real lonely here cause all my friends have deserted Blogger years and years ago and I'm one of the last holdouts.

Despite all the help Abi gave me and some advice from Ken (not the Barbie ex lol sorry I couldn't help it) I have remained locked out of the "life blood" that makes Tumblr, according to Abi.
Yes, well. Story of my life. Lol no not really but you know what I mean.

If anyone wants to know, I keep getting shown a "Sorry, we seem to be having technical error. Please try again later." msg whenever I click on Ask/Submit and no amount of refreshes, proxy setting changes and relaunches help.

Sigh.
I am resigned to my fate. You may leave me alone to cry and hide in the Hiddles tags while simultaneously wailing "STAWP IT!" at the cold emotionless macbook screen.

All this technology stuff is damnably flabbergasting. I feel like Steve after he awoke from the 70 years he spent in the ice. Yes that was an Avengers reference. Please don't judge me, I love them so.

If you're wondering about the post title, ignorance is the player in the middle who attempts (I wouldn't call it "attempt", really, when it is "succeeds" that is more appropriate) to intercept the ball. Of course, it is a virtual ball we are talking about since Tumblr has no real arms to speak of, although it is doing a bang up job of holding me captive in the Hiddles tag.

Cut It Out - Kitten

Behold! New music from one of my fave bands, Kitten. Fell in love with them back in 2010 (WOW was it really that long ago? I feel old.) when they released their EP Sunday School with the lead track Kill The Light. All fantastic songs that still give me shivers of delight and were the reason I begun listening to this genre. Their new EP, Cut It Out, is out August 28th and I can't wait!

I looooove this band cause the lead singer, Chloe, has dreamy vocals and I adored the vibes I got from their songs. Their new songs are more...electro pop-ish but I still dig it for Chloe's sugary vocals. Although I dont really get the new look. Gold glitter everywhere. Very hipster.

Okay I promise I didnt start this post with the intention of promoting them, it just happened cause I'm streaming their songs in the background. I'm just so excited because so many of my fave artists have upcoming projects or recently released their newest albums.

Apparently Kitten performs with Paramore today! ARGHHH so wish I could see that show but sigh, these are the woes of one who doesnt live in the States. If I did, I could probably drive around going to shows but no, I live in sunny Singapore, where shows are few and expensive. For example, Robyn is coming in September, but I cannot afford the good tickets, and I am reluctant to risk buying the cheap $88 (still not that cheap considering I havent got an income) since I have no idea what the visibility is like, 2 levels up from the stage. What if I cant even see anything? :( & then there's Sigor Ros coming in November, $110 for each ticket. Yeah how do people afford these concerts! Oh well.

Gonna just drown my sorrow in Marina and the Diamonds live on Youtube Presents. Or CSI Las Vegas on tv now. Bye for now!
